![]() Hi, I am creating a Word document that can be filled/completed by a user. I would like to be able to create the following: 1. The user will have the ability to select 1 or more prognosis at a time from a drop down list. So this would need a multi-select box. 2. All prognosis selected will result in a table within the document being populated. The prognosis, diagnostics, treatment and other will be populated, but the “Cost” column will be blank and fillable. Can anyone provide me with some guidance on how to do this? I tried the “dependant drop down” option, but the information would not fit in the table properly – and when there was more than 1 point, the text appeared in one line rather than creating a list of items (due to the fact that I do not know what to use to create a “new line” in the coding). I have read several forums, and it would appear that using VBA would be a possible solution by referencing a table that is saved on the computer (I would need the information saved “within” the document since it will be used by individuals who are not on the server); however, this is completely foreign to me. I just need some guidance on the approach/basics to start ... Any information that can be understood by someone who does not know anything about coding would be greatly appreciated. NB. The reference table exists in Word and can be made in Excel if needed. The attached is an example provided is for reference purposes only. Thank you for your help and time. |
