Default Dropdown Lists in Word O365

I'm trying to create a form using word, containing a table with drop down lists in the cells.
I've got this working but I need to create lists in two of the cells which are dependent on the option selected in the first cell. Never used VBA so anyone who can help and provide an idiots guide would be welcome.

List 1
4 options of which only two will link to list 2

List 2
24 options for the first selection

23 options for the second selection

My old friend Greg Maxey has a useful primer on his web site - Link "Conditional Content" to a List Selection
