Can I change the Normal.dot name ?
If I am writing different macros with my co-worker, how do we "combine" the macros so that they are accessable from the same template location ?
For example, I would like to name my macro "Test_A.dot" and his macro is "Test_B.dot" and we would have two buttons in the WORD toolbar. But, we can't seem to change the macro names from the Normal.dot and still have WORD see the macros. How can we do this ? |

First of all macros are not named as dot files, like "Test_A.dot". Dot files contain macros. often many of them. I have a dot file with over a 100 small macos.
The default when you record a macro, for example, is that the macro (Subs) is stored in Nomal.dot. if you record another it is ALSO in Normal.dot. Macros in Normal (or any other template, which is what Normal is) - however many - can have their own button on the toolbar. |
