Print only certain parts of a document on demand
Hi all,
would anyone know if it is possible to mark certain parts of a Word document and then print it separately without the rest of the contents? Something like different style sheet for Print in CSS. I am using Word to describe some processes. I would like to include quiz questions in the document and *hide it*. Then, when the time comes I want to print ONLY the quiz questions (more or less formatted, that does not really matter). These documents are constantly changing so it would be easier if I do not need to maintain the questions in another document. What approach would you choose? I do know some VBA, or at least I can try (I have never scripted Word). It is Word 2003. Thanks a lot for any help! Jirka |

Hi Jirka,
The simplest solution for what you've described is to format the answers as hidden text. You can then use Word's 'print hidden text' option to toggle the answer printing on/off. No code required.
