Need help in aplhabetica sorting
Hi everybody, I need some help sorting a large document that has 700 letter. Its a mail merge , but the person who did it didn't sort them before the process. I would do the mail merge again, but the person who did them manually inserted a different dollar amount for each letter so it will be the same hassle to redo it. I am trying to find a way to sort the all the letter by using the last name as a reference. IF someone can help me that would be highly appreciated. I hope I explained it clear enough. Thank you. |

Hi Brooklyn,
It would take a lot of coding to do that - and that would take far longer to develop than it would to manually sort the printed letters. As for the manually-inserted values, they really should have been in the data source in the first place.
