Smile macro to swap between letterhead

Hello, in Word 2007 I have four documents with four different letterheads. I would like to create a macro where users can choose between the four letterheads.

We had this kind of macro for Word Perfect. When the user clicked a button a pop up list appeared, with several letterhead choices. The user would press the radio button then press okay.

An example of this being done would be ideal.

Thank you very much.

Hi anno14,

While this is possible, it seems to me you should be creating your document from one of four different templates (which you'll need to create and store in your templates folder), chosen according to the document's purpose from File|New > Templates > On My Computer.

Hi anno1404,

have you placed the templates into the users' templates folder?

If you're still having issues with the use of different templates, you can continue with this thread.

If you implement the template management as I described, you don't need a macro - all you need is to choose the appropriate template according to the document's purpose from File|New > Templates > On My Computer. And even if you had a macro, it wouldn't run automatically every time you want to create a new document - you'd have to activate the template it's in before being able to run it to choose another template from which to create the document.
