Conditionnal copy/paste
Hi everybody,
Daily bulletins include the road conditions of 3 roads: Rd1, Rd2, Rd3. The road 2 includes two sections: West and East. The attached document shows an example of the original doc and the final result that I wish. I imagine that a conditional command in a VBA would be the solution but I am not familiar with that. Help! please. Of course, the real document includes a few hundred days. Thank you in advance Michael |

Hi Michael,
This has the same kinds of issues as your other document - and in this case, you've got split roads to deal with!

Hi Paul,
you are right.. that is related to the other project. I am progressing with it but I confess that my questions were maybe too complex and vast in order to get a solution. So, I decided to address my difficulties piece by piece with simple examples in the hope to get answers. Your help for that specific question would appreciated. Michael PS: that is my second try with VBA in Word. |

Hi Michael,
It's not that the questions are too complex; it's that implementing a solution is complex. This isn't something that can be done by looking at the bits in isolation. Anyone taking on such a task needs to have in view the required end product. Otherwise, much effort can be wasted working on something that won't integrate easily with the larger project.
