Tables in Compatibility Mode
Hi,
I just got the 2010 package installed on my computer (we're a little behind the times here at my office). I need to edit a document originally created using MS Word 2003. When open MS Word 2010 is in "compatibility mode". This document contains a table to which I need to add a new row. Normally, I would just highlight a row by clicking the the left of it, right click, and select "insert row". Currently, I am not able to highlight the row. If I right click beside the row the only option available to me is to paste something. I can type in the document, but that appears to be the only thing. I tried saving it as a .docx file and re-openning it but am having the same issues. Help? |

Hi
Are you sure your table is not set up as a Form and is protected? If so you need to unlock the form and then insert a new row. I have just tested your issue between Word 2003 and Word 2010 and cannot re-create the issue. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |
