Microsoft Word 2010 - Aligning table horizontally
I'm using Microsoft Word 2010, and have created a table. How can I align the table horizontally?
Thanks. |

Hi SWEngineer,
With something in the table selected, choose Table Tools > Layout > Properties > Table, then input whatever horizontal alignment you require.

Thanks for your reply.
It worked when I made 'paste special', and then chose Picture (Enhanced Metafile), such that the table became like an image where I can rotate it as I want. |

Hi SWEngineer,
That shouldn't be necessary. Apart from anything else, it effectively makes the table uneditable. In your previous post, all you mentioned was that you wanted to 'align the table horizontally'. You said nothing about rotation, which is an entirely different issue. Word offers three basic ways of 'rotating' a table: 1. change the page layout from portrait to landscape; 2. change thetext orientation in the cells (which requires the table to be designed as if the rows & columns are transposed); and 3. insert the table into a textbox, then rotate the textbox. Any of these methods leaves the content editable.
