Cannot enter data in certain columns of tables
Hi all--
Relative newbie here (more of a Framemaker goddess, so Word is taking some getting used to). I have a compliance checklist I'm trying to complete. It's in table format, in a template, and most of it works fine. However, several of the cells (usually appearing in the 2nd and 3rd columns), have no asterisks in them, and I cannot enter any data. It's like they are locked to any input. I can't click in them, tab to them, or anything else. I have not encountered this before. Does anyone know what might be causing this? |

Hi HipHopapotamus,
Sounds like you're working with a document configured as a protected form. Such documents are designed so that you can only input data into the specified formfields.
