Default Inserted Rows always filled with colour

When I insert a row in a Word table, it is always filled with colour. I have tried everything I can think of to stop this, including ensuring correct settings in Borders and Shading and Banded Rows, but without success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Peter,

If the table was originally created using a Table Style that included a colour fill, that might account for new rows having that attribute.

Default Thanks Paul

This may be the problem, as when I create a new file based on the Normal template I don't have the problem. I have been creating a new report based on the previous one using Save As.

Hi Peter,

Instead of continually modifying copies of old documents, you'd do better to create a proper template - with a table using the format you need.
