Default Issue with Last Row in Table

I am creating a small address book in Word 2008 for Mac. I have two identical tables one above the other. In two of the columns of the table I have two lines in each cell such as:

Street Address
City, State, Zipcode

This works in all of the rows except the last one. When I type the second line in a cell in the bottom row of the table the first line disappears and it only allows one line. This happens with both tables so I don't think the problem is that one is above the other.

What do I need to do so I can type two lines in a cell in the last row of the table?
Thank you,
Mary

Hi Mary,

It sounds like your table's last row is configured with its row height fixed at a height that's too small to allow for two rows. If you delete the existing last row, then go to then end of last cell in the table and press the Tab key, Word should create a new last row with the same attributes as the preceding row has.
