Hi. I have a word document with a inserted table. each of the cells within the tables have background colours. When I hilight the columns and rows and paste them into a new doc (with a similar table layout), the contents are copied but not the background colours. I cannot simply make a copy of the doc and rename it.

You can save the table as a Quick Table or AutoText and use it in a different document.
I will move this to the Word Tables forum. |
