Caption orphaned from Table body
I had caption with the table on my word document until the table started to extend to next page. At that moment caption split from table body and stays on separate page from the table. How do it fix it to get them together again on same page? I use Mac OS latest version |

Assuming the caption occurs before the table, you could apply the 'Keep with Next' paragraph format to the caption; otherwise, apply the property to some or all table rows, including the last row.

It is also possible that ALL the Table rows are set to "Repeat as Heading Row". This is an obscure reason why the table might all move to the next page and leave the Caption behind. Check also that the Table is positioned In line with Text and not floating (wrapping).
