Question Building a transfer slip

Hello, I want to build a transfer slip. Now I have a problem with a kind of table. Can anyone explain how I make these "half" frames I marked them in the enclosed picture.

That particular table border feature can only be done in a Word table if there is actually two rows and a hidden horizontal border between them. This is then problematic for actually typing content into the cells so it would need to be on a different layer so the user would type into something that overlays the table in the background.

The red text of text in line with the thicker top border is another feature that would require layers of content to reproduce and isn't really easy to do in Word.

I am 99.9% sure that the sample you posted was NOT created in Word. Adobe Acrobat has good features to set these comb-divided fields - although the text entered not aligning with the white spaces indicates that it might not have been used here either.

One row should be created in the background as a 2 row table with the faint borders on every cell but no horizontal border between the two rows. Then on every 4th cell on the bottom row you give it a heavier border.

The actual Content Control that the user should type into is going to need to be on a separate layer. Ideally you would create the artwork in Word and then save it as a PDF and add the form fields in Acrobat where you can get the field to align each entered character with the white boxes.
