Table sorting problems
This problem seems to be only applicable to Office 2019 not 2011.
Scenario: 3 column table to define legal definitions. Column 1 numbered. Column 2 Word - example Architect - Column 3 definition of Architect. Simple right? Note there are no page breaks in Table - all one uninterrupted simple table. So you add definitions ad hoc and when complete select entire table and sort by Column 2 alphabetically. In Office 2011 this works 100%. Office 2019 - All hell breaks loose. It adds exclamation marks in Column 2 example "Architect" It duplicates and in some cases triplicates rows so you will get Architect 2-3 times. You can try what you like - select Header No Header the lot - still does this every single time. On DropBox I access same file via MacAir 2011 and it works 100%. Any ideas Guys please???? |

Where you state "select entire table" have you tried selecting Column 2 instead? This will bring up dialogue box where you select 'Column 2'. It works with my Word 2019.
