Default Little gap in tables

When copy and pasting information into tables, there is a little gap that occurs as seen in the attachment in the "double" line.

Can anyone please advise on how to get rid of it?

It looks like that Row of the table has the Row site set to a size slightly bigger than the paragraph size. If you select it an right click, choose Table Properties and go to the Row tab, what are the height settings?

Thank you for the reply.

I've attached a screenshot of the Row properties.

I think you will need to post a sample document. That dialog is not showing what I would have expected so the reason for your gap could be something else.
