Default Populate cells of a table with data from a MySQL database

Hi all,

At work I received the task to create a word template that once opened fill automatically some fields in a table with data from a MySQL database and then the file is saved in a folder that changes according to some of those fields.

I solved the part for saving the file with a macro, but I have no idea how I can do the first part. Is it possible? Can someone give me an input please?

The general method is called Mail Merge.

Depending on what you're doing, the task might be accomplished using a DATABASE field. See, for example: https://www.msofficeforums.com/mail-...html#post67097
