adding cells
choose where a cell shifts to
By default when you add a cell in a table it shifts the contents of the column down and then onto the next page if there isn't room on the existing page. Is it possible to make it so the content is shifted to the next column instead of the next page? so like if the table was 1 l 6 l 11 2 l 7 l 12 3 l 8 l 13 4 l 9 l 14 5 l 10l 15 and I added a cell between 1and 2. but instead of the 5 being shifted to a new page have it shift to where 6 was and 10 shift to where 11 was and have 15 move to the new page |

You could use a single-column table on a page configured for multiple (snaking) columns.
