Default Tables & Columns - Possible or Impossible!

I am trying to create a word resume template Which is first page is based on Table or column whatever:

The first column size is approx. 2" and the second column size is 5"
The second page is 2 column divided equally...

how can the text from the first page float to the next page that is divided to 2 column equally.

and what if I need two pages from the first page before it float to the equal column?

Is this is something possible??

Not exactly possible. But what you want may be accomplished.

First, you do want Tables in a resume.
  • You can set up your first table with the column widths as you set out. To continue into the second page, just continue adding content inside the table.
  • Have at least one empty paragraph between the tables. You can have it have a size of one point if you want.
  • Set up your second table to be on the next page set the way you want. If you always want it to be on a separate page, format the first paragraph in it for "page break before" formatting.
