Resize columns on even pages
We work with a lot of Word documents with different headers and footers on odd and even pages. And the documents do contain several tables.
Problem: It is not possible to drag a column size with the mouse on even pages. Only on odd pages. Workaround: Just create a temporary page break to push the table to an odd page and it is possible to resize the column with the mouse. Remove the page break again. Is there a hotfix already? No, that is not possible, especially if any of the rows spans a page boundary - which raises another issue: what appears on odd & even pages on your system won't necessarily all appear on the same pages on someone else's system. That's because Word uses information from the active printer driver to optimise the page layout for whatever system the document is opened on.
