Default Table breaking across pages even though it's set not to

I selected my table and went Properties > Row > Allow row to break across pages and unchecked the box and clicked OK but my table is still breaking across the pages.

How can I fix this? Thanks.

Is it all the same row? Is the row small enough to fit on a single page?

Oh, I wanted to stop the table from breaking across a page, not just a row.

In that case, you need to:
• change the table's wrapping to 'around'; and/or
• format each paragraph in the table except the last with the 'keep with next' attribute.

Thanks but unfortunately that did not help (did both and the table just stayed as it was). I also checked the paragraph immediately above the table and made sure that it does not have "keep with next" applied.

Can you attach a document to a post with the problem table (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I think this file demonstrates the problem. Thanks for your help.

The basic problem is that the table is too long to fit on a single page...

I see now that the cell above the caption had a defined height which was wasting space. I don't think I defined that height though so I don't know why it happened. Reducing it enabled the table to fit onto one page. Thanks for your patience!
