Remove tabs from certain cells in a table
Hi,
In a standard Word table say 4 cols by 4 rows if you put the cursor in the first cell in the table lets say A1, you can tab across the table A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2 , B3 etc. Is there away to delete a tab stop say A3 and B2 so the tab function skips these cells. I know I could delete the cell but for formatting options I would like to keep as is. Many thanks Garry |

In a word, no. Tabbing in a table cell always takes you to the next cell (even if Word has to add a row to the table to do it).
