Can you auto enter days of the week into a table column.
I can insert numbers but not days.

No. You could use a SEQ field with some additional field coding, though. For example:
{QUOTE {SEQ Day \# 0}/1/06 \@ "dddd" }
The first such cell such a field is entered into will return 'Sunday'. Copying it to subsequent cells and updating the field display will return 'Monday', 'Tuesday', etc. in those cells. Changing the year (06 in the field code) will let you start the sequence on other days (e.g. 01 to start on a Monday).

Note: The field brace pairs (i.e. '{ }') for the above example are all created in the document itself, via Ctrl-F9 (Cmd-F9 on a Mac); you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message. Nor is it practical to add them via any of the standard Word dialogues. The spaces represented in the field constructions are all required.
