In Word 2007, how does one keep a table from splitting between pages?

the problem with tables in MS Word is that they behave like any other text and therefore they split between pages if they are too long. They stretch with and based on the text that fills them.

What you can do is to adjust your font size, or line spacing so you fit your table to the page.

If you however must must fit your table to the page, you can fix the height of your rows. You can do that via table properties.

Rightclick on the table, then pick "Table Properties". Then choose "Row" tab and tick "Specify height". But however I have to advise you that if your text will be too long or too "high" for the row, it will not appear.

Select the table except for the last row. In the Paragraph dialog box, in the Line and Page Breaks tab, check the box to "keep with next".

Also, select the table, right-click on it and choose table properties. Go to the Row tab and UNcheck "Allow row to break across pages".
