Undo a nested table in Word 2007
I have 3 simple tables in Word 2007. Each has 3 columns - the same size and formatting. I have copied and pasted each table to make one table but I can't sort the combined table because the highlighting won't go beyond that nested table. How can I get rid of the nested table without losing the information? |

You'll need to select each of the embedded tables, then cut & paste them as a new table after the existing one, with an empty paragraph between them. After ensuring they all have the same layout (table indent, wrapping & column widths, especially), you can delete the separating paragraphs, which will merge the tables so you can sort.
