How to create a perfectly square table?
How do you create a perfectly square 8x8 table? I don't want the table to go all the way across the paper. |

Simply set the column widths and row heights to the required measurement. For the:
• rows, set the exact row height under Table Tools>Layout>Properties>Row>Specify Height>Exactly. • columns, set the preferred column width under Table Tools>Layout>Properties>Columns, and uncheck the 'automatically resize to fit contents' option under Table Tools>Layout>Properties>Table>Options. You might also want to set the cell margins to 0 all round and/or to format the table paragraphs with 0 before/after spacing.

Thanks. I think that's what I did. I also centered all the letters, it made grid look better.
