Using Tables with Column Feature
Hi All,
This is what I'm trying to do. At work we have order forms for produce, etc. and occasionally they have to be edited so I don't want tables spanning across the page. This is what I'm doing: - making one continuous table going down the left side of the page - using the Columns, I'm getting the table to span two columns - this works, however I cannot get the header to repeat at the top of the second column. It's been my understanding that Word sees the second column as a second page, so in Tables I asked it to repeat at the top of the page. As you can see, it's not doing that. Any ideas? Anne |

It does work if done correctly. With your table, it appears you've split in two by inserting a column break in the first column. You should not do that; instead let the table manage the column-wrapping for itself.
