Default Alphabetizing a table across multiple pages

I am working with a table which is simply a list. I will receive new items to add to the list sporadically and plan to add these manually. I found information on sorting the table alphabetically and this works fine for the first page but when I add new items manually I would like them to move to the next column but instead it is just pushing the last item of the first column down to the top of the first row of the second page.

See attached doc for example.

Thank you!

If you want them to move to the next column, maybe you should use the COLUMN feature rather than a table. What Word is doing is exactly what it supposed to do.

I have attached an example to illustrate using some of your data (copied/pasted multiple times).
