Word tables
I am using the table format in Word to create forms and wish to fix the size of the table box. Currently the table will continue to expand ad infinitum the more you type. Alternatively, when you can fix the box size you can carry on typing and the text will disappear.
Is there any way in Word I can do this or is there another programme that will allow me to do this? Thanks in advance |

Tables consist of rows, columns and cells, not boxes, but I think you are wanting to set the height of rows.
Right-click on the Table and choose Table Properties. Go to the Row tab. When you specify height, be sure to also set the "Row height is" drop-down to Exactly. This sets it for whatever row you right-clicked on. Notice there are Previous Row and Next Row buttons. |
