I have been searching all day to get some guidance on how to calculate average ratings on a performance evaluation form. This thread:
https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...g-results.html is the closest post that I have found that talks about what I need. Your help would be so greatly appreciated. My question is pretty much the same as in the linked thread. Each box in each section represents a score 1 -5 (1 being worst, 5 being best) I would like to take the value for the checked box in each element and add them together then divide them by the number of factors to come up with an average score to be displayed at the bottom of each factor with a grand total at the bottom. the first factor has 5 elements which score needs to averaged on its own and than added to the remaining factors. I hope that makes sense :-) I would also like to prevent the user from checking more than one box per section? I have never done this before so detailed instructions would be great if possible, please. I do not know how to work with Macros or how to write code so I am hoping this will be fairly easy :-) Any help would be greatly appreciated :-) |
