Word 2016: Stop merged cells from breaking across pages
Hi,
I'm using Word 2016. I have a table with two columns, in which I'm itemizing parts for a mechanical assembly. Each part is represented using 5 rows: column 1 contains text (in 5 cells) and column 2 contains an image of the part (5 merged cells). See attached image for an example. I've selected each row in the table and deselected "Allow row to break across pages". How do I stop the table from breaking in the middle of an entry (as with the "Spring top" entry in my example)? Thanks! FiveFingers |

You could apply 'Keep with next' paragraph formatting to the cells in the left column.

Thanks macropod. I finally figured out how to do that. Ugh, I hate that it's all such a manual process.
