Default Convert Word Tables to PDF

I have created a newsletter in Word. On some pages I have used tables, which have a coloured in-fill and white keylines separating the columns and rows. The tables look fine in the Word file. I then convert the word file to an Acrobat .pdf.

When you open up the .pdf file, the white keylines then look as if they are thicker in some places, as if there are 2 lines on top of each other.

Does anybody know how to avoid this?

Thank you.

I saw something like this recently, and the difference was an illusion: at certain screen magnifications, the borders on a table disappeared, but the page printed fine. I suggest viewing the PDF at 100% and printing a page to see what results you get. If you still have a problem, then I guess my answer won't offer any help …

This is most likely just the way Adobe displays the PDF. It's a long-standing issue. You should check the printout for confirmation that you're getting the right output
