Selecting table cell vs. text
I'm trying to figure out why one row in my table insists on adding additional margin/white space at the bottom of the row. I have a table with multiple rows, all of which have 2 columns. All of the table's margin/alignment settings are identical across rows and cells. The only difference I see is that when I select a cell in the problem row, only the text is highlighted, whereas if I select a cell in the non-problem rows, the entire cell is highlighted.
If anybody knows if this is somehow related to the margin issue and how to fix it, I'd be so grateful for your insight. Thanks! |

That suggests your problem cells have a paragraph break between the text and end-of cell marker. Clicking on the ¶ symbol on the Ribbon's Home tab will reveal the fill extent of each cell's content. Paragraph breaks will appear as ¶
