Tab issue in a cell in my table
Hi, I am having trouble with tabbing in my table. I have created a table with 4 columns and 3 rows and in the first 3 columns there is just a single vertical line of text but in the last column I have some 'mini columns' within that cell of data that links to the 3rd column and I suppose the rest of the data in the other columns. I have been trying a lot of things to get it all evenly spaced, lined up with the data in the 3rd column and lined up with itself and I've found it to be really stressful figuring it out, I've learned about tabs and know how to create tab stops but my issue is that whenever I set a tab stop for the 1st mini column's data, whenever I set it and press ctrl tab, the data in the 2nd mini column moves along with it and I need that data to remain where it is. Basically I am wondering how I can stop this and whether there's a way to divide the text in a cell into two distinct, formattable columns of data that aren't influenced by how you manipulate the other? I haven't managed to find a way to select a block of text in a cell as it seems that word just assumes that all of the text is relevant to each other in a way which implies that manipulation of one section should change the rest but it's clearly not the case. Also if anyone knows of a way for me to split the cell and divide it so that on the right side the right sided data in the cell is retained and vice versa in the left cell that would be really helpful.
