Default Table style of pasted table

I have a word template that contains a table style that I have created ('CompanyTable').

I have made it the default table style so that all tables created in the document use that style.

However, when I paste a table from another document, even with 'Use Destination Styles', the table doesn't inherit the default table style. I can see that this is because the table style of the copied table (TableGrid) also exists in my template. Since I can't control the source style of copied tables, what is the best way of dealing with this? Do I need to delete all other table styles in my template? Or just make sure all users know how to apply the custom style for pasted tables?
