can't draw a line in table that is continuing on multiple paper sheets
I create a table that I am using to simply organise text on left and right side of the document. It has only one row and two columns. Every time when I am at the end of a page the document continues and creates identical table on new page. Now I have a document that has 28 pages and would like to draw some lines through both columns to divide some parts of it /insert a row/, but it allows me to do this only on the first page. I am a basic user of word, maybe therefore every step that I've tried didn't work. I was looking for the solution also reading previous themes in this forum, but couldn't find something similar... I would be very glad, if somebody can help me. Thanks, Kate |

If you want to insert new rows, they can only be inserted above or below an existing row. With a one-row table, that necessarily means everything before or after the new row(s) will be on the 'other' row. Having inserted a new row, though, you can drag (or cut & paste) content from one row to the other.
