Delete empty cell and shift up
I have a table 2 columns x 3 rows that is populated with data from mailmerge. The data in columns are independent of the rows. If the cell is empty, I want to delete the empty cell and shift the data up for better presentation. Any idea? Pls see attached. I want to move the cell phone row up as well as the email cell up one row. |

A mailmerge can't conditionally output table cells. Whole rows/tables, yes, but not cells within a row.
You could, of course, have multiple lines within a cell and have the mailmerge conditionally output/suppress those lines. Automating anything more complicated would require a macro.
