how to make fullwidth table break across pages with mirrored margins
Hi folks,
Im currently working in my master thesis in a word document in word for mac 11. I have choosen a design for the project with wide mirrored margins. I'm using a bunch of tables here and there - which are more or less full page width, around 17cm wide.
My problem is that the assymetic design of the margins makes it impossible for a table to break across pages without the table ending somewhere it does not belong. I've attached a screendump of the document where the problem occures. On the first page a table is inserted and alligned with the right margin - and as it does not break across pages, it is fine. On page two another tables is inserted, here the table is alligned with the left margin - the problems occurs on page three where the table from page 2 brakes into. As you can see does the table (off course) still allign with the left margin, which is now broad margin, which makes the table sit way too much too the right.
What i would like to do whas to allign the tables to absolute fix on the e.g. the page edge instead of the margin. Do anybody know if the problem can be solved - if yes, how?
