Help Printing Linked Graphs in Word Table

I have a series of graphs that I created in Excel and have linked them into cells of a Word table. I linked the graphs by copying them in Excel and pasting special links (Microsoft Word Document Object). I am able to right click on the graphs in Word and update the link as changes are made to the graphs in Excel...and it's working the way I want.

My issue is when I print the Word document, the graph bars are not printing. The axis information and data labels print fine, but the bars are missing. The graphs disply fine on my monitor and on Word print preview. The linked graphs that are not in a table are printing fine.

I want some of the graphs in a 2 column Word table so the I have the right column for commentary regarding the graphs.

Are the graphs retained correctly if you save the document to PDF? If so, the problem may be with your printer driver, in which case you should check the maker's website for an update. If an update isn't available, try uninstalling/reinstalling the existing one and, if that doesn't work, printing from the PDF may work.

I tried printing to PDF and the bars of the graph are NOT printing. I'm beginning to think it might be less cumbersome if I try embedding the graphs in Word as opposed to linking them to a separate Excel worksheet. I'll try that today and see if it resolves the issue.

My suggestion was to save the document to PDF, not to print to PDF. See if that works.

The only issue there is SOME of the users need to be able to make last minute edits to their commenary....so I have to use Word. After 4 attempts and linking / embedding the graphs, I finally have them working the way I want. I had to break out each graph onto a separte embedded worksheet. Now, everything is in work, including the Excel sheet with the graph data.
