Table cells with negative numbers being displayed in two lines
I'm generating technical report documents using C# and interop with MS Word 2013 on a Windows 8.1 64-bit platform. Word seems to be treating negative numbers like hyphenated words and is splitting many of them into cells with two lines in them. As an example, -109.2 is displayed as:
- 109.2 Any ideas on how to correct this or where to look are appreciated! |

That suggests the cells or paragraph margins are too narrow to hold the entire string with the font face & dimensions you're using. You can resolve the problem by any combination of the following:
• widen the cell; • change the paragraph formatting; • turn off line-wrapping (which may cause overflowing content to disappear); • use a different font/size; • apply the cell 'fit text' option (which will automatically reduce the font width).
