Insert single cell table in middle of text. I cannot do this in Word 2010 or 2013. I used to be able to do it in Word 2003. A single cell table is useful on a form to allow a user to fill in a blank line. (The line is obtained by removing the top, left and right borders of the cell.) In word 2010/2013 when I try to insert a once cell table, word inserts a paragraph before the cell, and I cannot delete it. I try to format table properties (after adjusting the width to the amount I want), using Text Wrapping | Around, and then click on the Positioning icon. This gives an unclear menu. When I simply check the Move with text check-box, nothing happens. When I try to select "Inside" for both the vertical and horizontal position. The Move with text check box becomes unchecked. When I check it, the Horizontal position menu remains at "Inside", but the Vertical position changes to 0" and I still am stuck with a table that cannot be moved with the text.
