Include a table in landscape but keep footnote continuous
Hi guys
I am new to this forum as I was searching for some info about including tables in landscape rather than portrait and thought it would be good to get some advice. I have been struggling on this for two hours. I am a final year phd student and need to submit in two weeks. So all documents are fine except for when I need to include a table. I have chapters 1,2 and 3 with no tables. All chapters start with footnotes as of 1. I am now inserting a table in landscape in chapter 4. I did this through section breaks. But now, the footnotes after that are either starting as continuous from chapter 1 (so it gives me footnote 678, for e.g.) or if I right click footnote and note options, and click for start from 1 for new section, it starts at 1. What I am trying to do is to get it to continue from the footnote number in chapter 4 right before the table. Does that make sense? So it the footnote before the table is 67, I want the first footnote after the table to be 68. Is there anyone out there who would be kind enough to help me out on this. I really need this. Everything else is fine - table of contents, biblio, table of cases. Just this one point. Cheers Prakash |
