Default Aligning Page Border with Table border without losing formatting

As stated above, how do you align a page border with the border round the edge of a table? It appears impossible as when you do get them close (1mm-2mm) it's still noticable! I have tried re-sizing the table and that doesn't work just messes with the formatting of the table. I've tried recreating a page border but it just puts a new one around the selected text even wider than the current one! It is simply eminently frustrating.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi
Why would you want a page border in exactly the same place as a table border?

Hi,

Because I am using the multiple tables in the place of columns to reformat an original document to make lists/tables more presentable. Seemed a hell of a lot easier than messing about with columns and copy/pasting everything back and forth to try and make the columns, particularly as somebody had messed about with the column formatting so it was completely illogical!

You could try deleting the Left & Right cell margins of the table's outer columns. Or you could simply delete the Left & Right borders.

Many thanks, however I have discovered the fit to window button when you right click on the tables this morning which thankfully largely works. However, is there a way to align the newly aligned tables with the little portions of text that don't tally either with the rest of the page or the table?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'the little portions of text that don't tally either with the rest of the page or the table'.
Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab.
