Text Form Fields - Filling the table cell
I've created a form based in a table in Word 2010. I have it set up to protect the sheet and only certain cells can have text entered using text form fields. I turned off the Form Field Shading. When it was greyed out, one could easily tell where to click in a cell to enter the information. However, when printing it obviously is not appealing to the eye with the greyed boxes.
As I said, I turned off/removed the Form Field Shading, but now I'm having trouble with the Text Form Fields. They currenly are set up as right aligned, but it wouldn't really matter where they are aligned (right, center, left). When the form is protected, if you click in the cell but you miss where the Text Form Field is located, it moves you to the next cell. In short, is there anyway to expand the Text Form Fields so that they cover the entire cell in my table? TIA |

Hi simville02,
You could set the default content to however many spaces or other characters you'd like to use as might be required to fill the cell width.
