Good day folks, Can anyone tell me how to disable windows security passkey? I googled this subject and many people asked this question, and many people were met with a paternal lecture about how you don't want to disable this feature because its supposed to be more secure. So rather than telling me what I need for system security, does anyone have a practical solution to get rid of this annoying feature that I don't want or need? Thanks

Hello, I went to this link but the option to disable windows passkey for all logins is not displayed. This might be because I already disabled it previously. I should also note that not ALL my logins prompt me to use a windows passkey, just certain ones. Thanks

So I went to the suggested link and I tried both suggested methods, method 1 which involved changing the personalization settings and method 2 which suggested tinkering with the registry. After method 2 I got a message saying the registration change was successfully added, but I am still being presented with a prompt for windows passkey when I attempt to login to certain websites only.
