"Last modified by" column
Hello,
I am looking for the solution how can I quickly pick up in File Explorer which files were modified by a specific user. Is it possible at all in W10? |

If, 'modified by a specific user' is equivalent to the file's 'owner' as recorded by the operating system, you could use something as simple as:
DIR C:\SomeFolder /Q > FileList.txt from a command prompt, then open & sort the entries in FileList.txt (e.g. using Excel), where 'C:\SomeFolder' specifies both the drive and folder to process. Otherwise, you'll need a script that can interrogate each file's metadata. You could also add the /S switch to process sub-folders of the specified folder, as in: DIR C:\SomeFolder /Q /S > FileList.txt

Ok, thanks for reply. Actually I expected to add field such as 'file owner' into File Explorer. I use One Drive as synchronised with File Explorer and many users modify files on-line, so it would be convenient for me to find in the easy way who modified the file as the last.
After unfolding the list of fields that I can add to sort files ("picking details", I note, that there is no field indicating who saved the file as the last. The only field akin to "last modified by" is "authors", but it returns only who created first version of the file. I can look into One Drive located on web browser but it takes time. Is there any chance? |

I doubt you'd get any more detail from One Drive. If you're on a network, though, the network software should include auditing tools that would return the lastmodified user details; indeed, the better ones can log every access & modification.
