Ctrl + V not working for Paste
In Word, Control C for copy and Control X for cut is working, but Control V for paste does not work.
If I cut text from Word, Control V does not paste it back into any program, e.g. email. How can I get back the Control V functionality? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 03-19-2015 at 01:48 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Since you can't paste in other programs, it is likely that the problem is not in Word but in Windows. It is possible that some other application has hijacked that shortcut.
I am moving this to the Windows forum from the Word forum so that you can get the best answers. Double check. In NotePad can you cut and paste? |

Ctrl + V not working for Paste
I simply rebooted the computer and Control V to paste seems to be working fine.
