Windows 7 Homegroup/Network question
I've got a question about networking that I hope is not a silly one.
I have a desktop and two laptops, all using Windows 7. The desktop is hard-wired to a rrouter, the laptops connect to the same router wirelessly. All three communicate seamlessly using Homegroup. If I take one of the laptops down the road to a hotel or coffee shop, the others obviously won't appear in the Homegroup because I'm using another router. BUT -- what happens if I take BOTH laptops on the road? Will they connect, or is there a way to allow them to connect automatically, or will I have to go through a setup routine on both computers each and every time I move them? What can I expect? I'll be doing a project soon that may require such a mobile network. |
