Password Protection
[Visio] In my line of work, our workforce uploads documents (MS Office Professional Word, Excel, Publisher, Visio etc. files) to an internal portal (SharePoint) for sharing/interaction. Some documents are not meant to be manipulated. Does MS Visio 2007 have any means to protect a document as a "master" from being altered by by other authorized users?
Thanks. |

Unfortunately Visio does not have any from of password protection built-in. Your best best would be to save the diagram as a PDF file for publishing.
If you don't already have it, you can get the Office 2007 plug-in to save to PDF here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en Hope this helps. -SW |

That is what I thought. I had searched before I asked but, was hoping that I overlooked something. Thanks for your input.
